will a flight get canceled with 1 passenger
will a flight get canceled with 1 passenger?
As of right now I'm the only person who's going to be on a flight from Monterrey to Detroit on a CRJ900, it's a pretty small plane. I'm 15 and flying alone for the first time so if I'm the only person on the flight will they cancel it? How long will it be canceled? What if no one else get on the flight? Will they still fly me to Detroit?

Probably yes. however, they won't cancel the flight until maybe the day before you depart. However, they may still fly the route because that aircraft needs to be in Detroit to fly out from there.

Wow a 3.5 hour flight on a CR9! Thats horrible. Although, Delta's CR9s are some of the most comfortable of the US Carriers, so It's not too bad. There may be many other passengers on your flight, they just do not have seat assignments yet, this is pretty typical when people buy tickets through discount websites. This flight only occurs once a day, and chances are there are another passengers on your flight. With no back up options, I say the chances are pretty good that it will not cancel unless other factors come into play like weather. Your flight appears to go our pretty regularly with about a 50% load. Should make for a very comfortable ride, you will probably have an empty seat.

Why are plane tickets to Salt Lake City so cheap?
I was looking at flights from Detroit to Salt Lake City, and I expected them to be in the $300-$400 range like they normally are. But the price for a round trip non-stop flight in mid April 2009 was $170. I was shocked, because that is less than half the price of what they are normally! Why are these flights so cheap, and do you think they will go up in price as April gets closer? Thanks.

they are cheap because no one is going there right now. If they fill the plane, the number of people who will use this flight in the future increases and they can charge full price again.

There might be a lot ot reasons for that: Salt Lake is a hub for Delta, fuel costs going down etc. Sometimes prices for tickets go down for a short period of time and then they change again.
