how long is a flight from Detroit Michigan to Edmonton Canada?

One  of them is downtown- it's called Edmonton City Center  Airport-unfortunately this airport doesn't handle (major)commercial air  traffic anymore because of the noise and so on. So you'll have to land  at Edmonton International.Now the next thing is..according to  flightstats.com there are no direct flights between Detroit and  Edmonton.So you'll either have to fly to Chicago or Toronto first and  then get on another plane to Edmonton.  From Detroit to Chicago is about a 1 hour flight.Chicago to Edmonton is  close to 4 hours...so going that way about 5 hours altogether-not  factoring in any layover between flights.  If you fly to Toronto from Detroit it's about an hour...then you're  going to have to give yourself enough time between flights to claim your  baggage and go through Canadian customs in Toronto... then to  Edmonton...also about 4 hours- so either way you're looking at about 5  to 5 and a half hours flying time.(this route is actually the cheaper of  the two)
