Anyone who can prevent catastrophe should be praised. Even those of us on here who are posting should be praising but of course this is the political section and it can not be seen that way, the responses only divide not unite. The purpose of this question is not constructive to the incident, it is just inflammatory when it should be about commendation.

I asked a question the other day about what stupid crap cons would jump on Obama for next. This was, apparently, it.
3 :
He's busy Golfing, get a White House aide to do it...
4 :
He wouldn't do that without first knowing how the guy voted.

That young guy should have free flight for the rest of his life! The President will recognize him, he's just in Hawaii right now.
6 :
I think yes.
7 :
no, because the guy who jumped that dude was drunk and he injured innocent passengers

Agree...but remember Obama is truly trash.... http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=iKzSDz-OpUU

A man prevents a possible terrorist attack, and it's...LOOK WHAT OBAMA DID, LOOK WHAT OBAMA DID!!!!

I suspect that Obama was not even given the name of the person or people that interfered with the terrorist plot. When he does, I am sure he will do something. And don't say that I am a Democratic lackey. I am not. I did not vote for Obama and I don't like the majority of his policies...but fair is fair.

He should have already done this. However if the heroic passenger was white and Republican I doubt you'll ever hear anything about it from him.

obama could have done what he did when he addressed the Ft Hood attack. he could have given Sutton a 'shout out' claiming a great meeting, a top priority, THEN he could have given some recognition the hero of this attack. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=aYldhOp1p34 Napolitano claimed victory for this administration in stopping the attack. how incredible, the 'system' failed completely on all levels. wasn't they who even tried to give terrorist acts another term that was more in keeping with their view that there is no war on terror, just man made events. this is beyond ignorant and she made herself look ridiculous with her lie. http://www.politico.com/blogs/politicolive/1209/Napolitano_The_system_worked.html?showall# this attack showed how lame the system is and that we are still in the pre 9/11 mentality. i just saw a liberal being interview who said we don't know the facts and should not jump to conclusions, this may just be the act of a 'sick' individual. there are none so blind as will not see!

Yes, yes, and yes. This brave passenger has reminded us of the courage and resolve of us all. Obama doesn't like that. He wants us all to believe that the we need government to complete us. That we need government to make us brave. He is being torn apart in Hawaii right now, he thought he had killed the American spirit and replaced it with a faith in government. This heroic passenger just crapped all over that idea. It wasn't the government that stopped the terrorist, it was a hard nosed private citizen who said "I'm not gonna sit around and wait for Obama to help" and he tackled that terrorist. Obama is probably crying in his hotel room right now, angry that there is a new hero in town and people realize they don't need Obama to be all they can be. The government failed, and a private citizen stepped in and did a better job than all of them combined.

Of course he should but I haven't heard a word about it. Did he say anything or he is too busy golfing on our money.
