1 hr lay over in narita from manila to detroit both via Delta?
My flight via Delta leaving manila is at 8:05 AM arriving in Narita at 1:10PM (my Itinerary). My connecting flight to detroit will leave Narita @ 2:30 PM. Are Delta terminal gates just within one area? Won't I be late in my connecting flight to Detroit granted that my layover allowance is only 1.20 hours?

If the gates are in the same terminal you should not have a problem. Usually 1 hour is enough time to make connections. Look at the ticket and make sure they are in the same terminal.

Whereas most people will be getting off in Narita , those of you who have ongoing flights will be directed to your departure gate via the transfer lounge. If you are still worried make sure that the people who you purchased your ticket from show all details on the itinerary, including transfer.The chances are that the plane you arrive on will be the one you leave on , so you will be directed to a transfer lounge and will be called back onto the plane when it is loaded with fuel, luggage , food etc;

yes because they have stop over due the plane change

Yes they are within the same area. However you have to go through transit security check (metal detector, xray scanner & id check). Don't worry they usually hold the next plane for connecting passengers. As a long time Northwest/Delta flier I am very well familiar with NRT T1 and their operations.
