Despite the fact that the Jihadi's own Nigerian Banker Dad (a good man) went to the extraordinary step of warning the the US Embassy? Under Obama, "the system" is apparently hoping there is one brave and quick private citizen on each plane willing to risk his or her life to tackle a terrorist as the bomb is going off. Oh, wait, I forgot. Obama says there are no such things as terrorists or terrorists attacks, and the jihadists with bombs are just common criminals. That brave passenger should be arrested and charged with assault while the Nigerian gets a free lawyer paid for by our tax dollars and goes to trial for disturbing the peace in the City of Detroit night court.

I was at first trying to give Obama and crew a break being that it was more the State Departments fault because they didn't relay the warning by the terrorists father but the clips of Gibbs and now this have got me way upset Gibbs said pretty much its Bush's fault because the terror list is too big and now this. wtf is wrong with these people

No it did not work. The individual got on a plane with explosives, ignited them and they fired--they did not fire completely as anticipated by the lunatic who wanted to blow them self up on the plane. Napolitano's judgment is way off if she actually thinks the system worked. For whom, may I ask? The lunatic was successful in violating the system--it's a 90% success for the would be bomber.

It worked as good as the Governments Health Care will. They do nothing but delay & increase the price of ... and then if you don't die, they take credit for saving your life. (if you die ... the system failed. lucky for us, the explosive also failed and a passenger intervened. the system itself failed or the bomber wouldn't have been on the plane.

Only a very delusional person could say that the system worked. It did not work at all. The system put American lives in grave danger. Never forget that to the Liberal Mind, intentions and actions are identical and synonymous. They intended the system to work, the plane did not blow up, therefore the system worked. It is a form of hypnosis in which reality is plastic and merely by voicing the words, it assumes the desired shape. It's all a dream to them, since they are so disconnected from reality. Actually you have her quote wrong. She said the system after the incident worked. She is correct in what she said. It was the system prior to the incident that did not work and she admitted this when interviewed by FOX on 12/28/09. I'm sure your mistake is due to incomplete reporting by one of the news agencies other than FOX, since FOX did report the quote correctly.
