Check with the airport, see if and when they have specials.
2 :
$328 is what I found, although I did see $259 with different dates. Check out Kayak.com
3 :
frontier airlines the fare alone minus taxes is US$ 110 US airways and Airtran taxes are around US$ 60 and the above fare is subject to availability at the time of booking so if you want a cheaper fare you book early

there are quite a few sites that you can search that will likely give you the best prices available. check out the website BookMe and you will be able to compare prices on all the reputable travel sites in just a couple minutes. it's very convenient and will save you a bunch of time and money. Also, make sure you buy them online... otherwise they charge much higher fees for phone orders. good luck.

amm try lastminute.com

I would use your travel agent for fares to Europe, you may want to even do an openjaw ticket, they work with consolidators for net pricing which is way lower then published air found online. Good luck
3 :
I have found the best international fares at globester.com
4 :
"Student" ticket agencies handle consolidator, published, and sale fares. Their tickets are often changeable for a much smaller fee ($25-$75) than buying from an airline or travel agency ($150-$200), and student tickets often allow stopovers in connecting cities. Here ya go: http://www.statravel.com (try US and Canada sites if you could go from Toronto, too) http://www.studentuniverse.com http://www.travelcuts.com (ditto US/Canada) One final thought... if you're travelling in May, then check the fares for Toronto to the UK at http://www.canadian-affair.ca -- they have some C$99 roundtrips (+taxes, of course) on select days, and other dates are also amazingly cheap. Adding a bus ticket Detroit-YYZ Airport might be well worth the savings.
5 :
British Airways or KLM!!!

Help me find the cheapest flight from Detroit to San Francisco

Help me find the cheapest flight from Detroit to San Francisco?
I need to find the cheapest flight from Detroit to San Francisco/Oakland for leaving July14th and returning July 22nd. Besides the typical websites, where else should I look to find the best deal? Should I call the airlines to see if they have cheaper prices available that aren't posted online?

hey.... if i was you i'd call up a local travel agent first & ask for a quote then I'd do a price comparison online. now finding the cheapest price could take a while online so i suggest u try this free web app that works with any search engine...once u download it itll do an automatic price comparison for you from different travel agents...once u get the cheapest price online take that to your local travel agent to beat...see how u go...it worked for me last time hehehe
