When is Delta AIrlines going to start checking passports on Flight 253 from Amsterdam to Detroit?
I had to read this twice to believe that a second Nigerian nutcase had turned up on the same flight in the same week. http://www.nytimes.com/2009/12/28/us/politics/w28talk.html

Actually, the Airline is only responsible to make sure that they can legally enter the US. Its the airport security in Amsterdam and Lagos (?) that would check the no-fly to US list (which he wasn't on).
2 :
I think airport security are the ones required to check all passengers and the airlines pay good money for that service. It would be wiser to check the security personal who have allowed these people aboard they may have a friend there.

They did check passports; the would-be-bomber wasn't on any no-fly list. My guess is that there are always several Nigerians on that flight, most average law abiding people, because that flight originates in Nigeria.

Anyone who can prevent catastrophe should be praised. Even those of us on here who are posting should be praising but of course this is the political section and it can not be seen that way, the responses only divide not unite. The purpose of this question is not constructive to the incident, it is just inflammatory when it should be about commendation.

I suspect that Obama was not even given the name of the person or people that interfered with the terrorist plot. When he does, I am sure he will do something. Yes, yes, and yes. This brave passenger has reminded us of the courage and resolve of us all. Obama doesn't like that. He wants us all to believe that the we need government to complete us. That we need government to make us brave. He is being torn apart in Hawaii right now, he thought he had killed the American spirit and replaced it with a faith in government. This heroic passenger just crapped all over that idea. It wasn't the government that stopped the terrorist, it was a hard nosed private citizen who said "I'm not gonna sit around and wait for Obama to help" and he tackled that terrorist. Obama is probably crying in his hotel room right now, angry that there is a new hero in town and people realize they don't need Obama to be all they can be. The government failed, and a private citizen stepped in and did a better job than all of them combined.

Whre can I find someone I flew with on Oct 1 from Detroit to Amsterdam with flight NW 48 KLM 6048 nw48 kl6048?
He had skateboard with him and is 6"4 tall. Dark hair. I know NWA does not give passengersnames and lists, but I must find him. I dont have a name, the only info I have is the flight we shared.
