What is the best way to travel between Detroit, MI and Rochester, NY? Besides taking a flight, that is.?
I understand that one can always take a flight or go by road/car. Wanna know if there are any direct bus services or trains???

There is a train that leaves Detroit at around 9pm to Toledo then you take a bus from Toledo to Rochester. it takes about 12 hours total.

Yes. He started in Lagos on Christmas eve and connected in Amsterdam on Christmas day. It's easier to get on an international flight in Nigeria so I'm guessing that he got on with the explosives there (I don't know). I don't know what security measures were taken in Amsterdam if any. flight from sydney to detroit
flight from sydney to detroit?
Im saving to see a friend in Detroit, first time out of oz, just want to know to travel time and is there anyway i can make my flight a little less longer.

The shortest time I could find on the Qantas website is 24 hours and 5 minutes. Sydney to San Francisco and San Francisco to Detroit. You have a three hour wait at San Francisco Airport for your connecting flight. You might be able to save a bit of time if you can find a connecting flight between San Francisco and Detroit that leaves earlier.

Are you going to be flying directly to Detroit or will you be making a stop over? I know that from Sydney to Los Angeles is about 13 or 14 hours and then another 5 hours to Detroit. The flight from LA to Detroit can also be broken up with a stop over in another city. I don't have any tips to make the flight seem shorter but it really isn't too bad, especially if you get a flight through the night and will be able to sleep for the majority of the flight.

so far the cheapest ive found is for $164 and includes taxes and fees departing on the 16th returning on 22nd through northwest airlines.. now i dont know if i would trust going on northwest since they've had so much trouble with canceling flights.. after a little more searching.. i found $159 including taxes and fees at NWA.com for the same dates as above
