How has Obama kept his word in holding his staff accountable yet firing no one for the terrorist fiasco

How has Obama kept his word in holding his staff accountable yet firing no one for the terrorist fiasco?
The President said he would hold his staff accountable but said no one person was responsible or would be fired. "Ultimately the buck stops with me," the President said. In announcing his review of the failures that allowed a "known terrorist" to board a flight to Detroit with a bomb on Christmas Day, the President said there was "a failure to connect the dots of intelligence that existed across our intelligence community."

He nor his staff have done anything wrong.

With the global warming fraud.

He hasn't told the truth yet.

I would hate to work where you work, if being held accountable means firing someone. You must have a constant turnover of staff. Where I work we actually give people a few chances before they get fired, as no one is perfect and it's safer to not have newbies in the job all the time. It you held your party to the same rules, then Bush should have been fired when no WMD's were found. Isn't that right?

GW Bush put this system in and he has already been fired.

Well you're talking about a president who's "safe school" czar is a supporter of NAMBLA.. Are you really surprised?

As long as the babbling idiot ROBERT GIBBS has a job..... As long as knucklehead JANET NAPOLITANO has a job.... As long as tax-cheat Timothy GEITHNER has a job.... As long as Communist-China-Ties HILLIARY CLINTON has a job..... I figure you can do just about ANYTHING and not get fired in this bozo administration.

Obama is weak and the terrorists know this so these attacks won't stop with this underwear bomber...there will be more. Obama is all blow and no go.
9 :
Disciplinary actions taken against federal government personnel are not publicly known. There could be suspensions, demotions, loss of pay, etc..., but that information is not disclosed to the public.

But you forget,it's just like his lies and false promises....."It's all Bush's Fault" I agree that the statement he made, makes sense. The buck does stop with him and if he were my employee,I'D FIRE HIS A$$!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

The fact that he wants to appoint a person with a criminal record to the TSA should speak for itself.

Cheap Flights leaving Detroit (DTW)

Cheap Flights leaving Detroit (DTW)?
Could anyone please find me a cheap flight (under $75) that leaves very early in the morning (about 6 a.m.) and comes back in the evening (about 6 p.m.) on the same day. This is for a flight leaving detroit (DTW) for any day between December 21 to January 1. If anyone could find me a flight like this, you do not know how much I would appreciate it because I am quite young and want to travel anywhere for 1 day on a tight budget and see some nice things. Thank You to anyone who at least tried looking. 10 points for best answer!

Look for flights on Spirit. http://www.spiritair.com/

You can try spirit airlines. Usually, the best days to fly are Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Saturdays as the prices usually drop. On Tuesday afternoons (between 1pm and 3pm most weeks), the Spirit sales come out and sometimes they're as cheap as $9 to fly one way. The bad news about Spirit is that they do not offer complimentary drinks or snacks. The drinks will cost you $3 for water or soda and $4-$7 for wine and spirits and snacks can cost between $$ and $7, depending what they offer. A personal recommendation is to fly to Ft. Lauderdale and go to Miami for the day. That's usually about a 3 hour flight each way and you can take a train from Ft. Lauderdale Airport all the way to Miami. Also, try going to NYC as that's about a 2 hour flight from DTW and you can see central park, have lunch or even catch a broadway show. The cab ride can be quite expensive. Good luck in your search.

Do you have to pay for luggage each time you need to have it checked, including connections flights

Do you have to pay for luggage each time you need to have it checked, including connections flights?
I'm going to Europe this summer, and I need to get on a connections flight from Detroit to Chicago, and then Chicago to Ireland. I've never been on a connections flight before, and I know that American Airlines charges $25 for the the first suitcase, going there and coming back. Now, when I get to Chicago, will I still have to pay $25 even though I would have paid it in Detroit? Thanks.

Question about flight

Question about flight?
A ticket from Detroit to Austin is $435. A ticket from Pittsburgh to Austin is $330 and has a connecting flight in Detroit. Could I buy the Pitt-Aus ticket, and just show up at the Detroit airport for the connecting flight?

No because if you do not show up for the first leg of the flight, the airline will say you are a no-show and cancel your entire trip.
