Is there a direct flight from Detroit, MI to Milan, Italy

Is there a direct flight from Detroit, MI to Milan, Italy?
I know that there is Boston-Milan, Philadelphia-Milan, but what about Detroit? Actually I am in Saginaw, Michigan (MBS), but Detroit has the biggest airport in Michigan.

No there is no direct flight from Detroit to Milan. The farthest non stop from Detroit would be Lufthansa to Frankfurt and then connect on. Or Detroit to Amsterdam on Lufthansa and then continue to Milan Continental would be Detroit Newark Milan US Air would be Detroit Philadelphia Milan
2 :
unfortunately the only flights from DTW to Milan have one stop KLM to Amsterdam then to Milan

No, there isn't. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Detroit_Metropolitan_Wayne_County_Airport

Check the website of your airline. I think its Northwest?? They show you all the entertainment, like movies etc. Have a save trip !
2 :
well that depends on the airline and the, size of the plane, you are using, and the time of your departure, IE American airline will have movies ,sport clips, and some news segments. but if you fly KLM, or virgin Atlantic you will have private TV with a large selections of movies and music. check you airline web site for on board entertainment. safe travel

no maybe a big ass though

Check it out! : http://www.seatguru.com/airlines/Air_France/Air_France_Airbus_A330.php Personal TV, music, food. You're in good shape buddy. Enjoy your stay in Paris!

I was business class, but in my experience going back and forth 8 times last year on Air France and Air Tahiti, Air France was better. The food was better, like restaurant food. Fancy combinations that weren't scary or gross. Better movie selection. They tend to have great movies and rotate them enough. They have snacks at random intervals. So if you wake up hungry, often you can go get a drink or some sandwiches during the night from the stewardess station. They also have video games and radio in the seat tv. Everybody sleeps a lot, and mostly at the same time. It's not bad at all, especially if it's nonstop.

I'll assume you're flying in coach (Tempo), however, if you're in business (L'Espace Affaires) or first (L'Espace Premiere), just let me know and I'll repost with the other info. There is an 18 inch seat width and 32 inch seat pitch. Air France A330s have seating 2 - 4 - 2 so I'd try to get a seat in a two-block near the front of the cabin. Two meals will be served- a dinner shortly after takeoff and breakfast upon arrival. Each seat is equipped with a personal TV, remote, and adjustable lights. Movies are semi on-demand, and there are also games, TV programs, news broadcasts, online boutique shopping, the 'Comix' cartoon channel, and a live broadcast information feed. Your seat reclines approximately 30 degrees. Hope this helps, and have a nice flight =]

How long will my flight from Detroit to Brisbane, Australia, be

How long will my flight from Detroit to Brisbane, Australia, be?
In early July, I will be flying with Qantas from Detroit, Michigan, and stopping in L.A., California, then flying to Brisbane, Australia. About how long will this flight take? (not including the time I'm stopped in LA)

It really depends on your flight but i know from LA to sydney is 15hrs, so depending on the flight path of the plane you are looking at no less than 15 hrs.
2 :
Quite a long time, with a stop in LA.
3 :
be advised Qantas doesnt fly from Detroit! only from Los Angeles! sure hope you didn't expect Qantas in Detroit! its mostly like a code-share with another airline (probably either northwest or American)
4 :
Kelly, it takes about 6 hours from Detroit to Los Angeles, and about 15 hours from Los Angeles to Brisbane, so you are looking at about 21 hours in the air. Take a good book with you. Regards, Dan
