How long of a flight is it from Detroit to Paris?
Disregard the time change, if I were to start a stop watch when we leave Detroit and stop it when we land in Paris, about how long would it be?

I'll assume that you mean Paris, France. Delta Airlines shows this flight taking about 8 hours each way, nonstop.
2 :
I thought it was only 6 hours when we went to Frankfurt it should be about the same. Have fun Paris is wonderful.

Try a travel agent. You probably have better chances of cheaper flights out of Chicago though.
2 :
There is an airline called LAN-CHILE or LAN-PERU that you can get a ticket that will allowed you a round trip from a different location. Google their website. Flying to South America is not cheap...There are in high season now..It is Summer time there now. Tickets are cheaper in July

Offer to smuggle cocaine. I'm sure the smugglers would be more than glad to pay for your airfare, meals and even accommodation!
4 :
Try Yahoo Travel. It is very helpful in finding the least expensive flights. I suggest booking the flights directly with the airline, though.
5 :
Definitely try Copa Airlines. Copa Airlines is the airline hub for the Americas. They have great package deals. I just booked my spring break travel vacation and got a great deal. Try www.copaair.com Its a great airline that flies brand new Boeing 737s. Good Luck on your travel.

hotwire.com, orbitz.com, or even yahootravel. at the yahoo page click on travel and see what they have. Since your travel back date is uncertain, you may need 2 one way tickets. congratulations and good luck.
2 :
try farecast.com it will give you the best price on air fare

I suggest contacting the following airlines for possible options: Air Canada (AC) through Toronto (YTO) Airtran Airways (FL) direct or through Atlanta (ATL), Baltimore (BWI), Rochester (ROC) or Washington (WAS) American Airlines (AA) direct or through Chicago (CHI), Miami (MIA) or New York (NYC) Continental Airlines (CO) through Cleveland (CLE) or New York (NYC) Delta Air Lines (DL) through Atlanta (ATL), Cincinnati (CVG), Fort Lauderdale (FLL), Greensboro (GSO), Lexington (LEX), Nashville (BNA), New York (NYC), Philadelphia (PHL), Raleigh/Durham (RDU), Tallahassee (TLH) or Washington (WAS) Northwest Airlines (NW) direct or through Flint (FNT), Grand Rapids (GRR), Indianapolis (IND), Memphis (MEM), Milwaukee (MKE), New York (NYC), Philadelphia (PHL), Traverse City (TVC) or Washington (WAS) Southwest Airlines (WN) direct or through Chicago (CHI), Jackson (JAN), Louisville (SDF), Nashville (BNA) or Saint Louis (STL) Spirit Airlines (NK) direct or through Atlantic City (AIY), Fort Lauderdale (FLL) or New York (NYC) United Airlines (UA) through Charlotte (CLT), Chicago (CHI), Philadelphia (PHL), Toronto (YTO) or Washington (WAS) US Airways (US) through Charlotte (CLT), Chicago (CHI), New York (NYC), Philadelphia (PHL) or Washington (WAS)

I always have got really cheap flights from booktickets4less.com. I've always compared them to expedia.com and priceline.com to make sure they were cheapest. Try to find the exact flight on each of the sites, then compare the price and go with the cheapest. Hope this helps.

www.kayak.com searches every single airline- and then you book directly with that company. It's the best search engine.

Since it will be last-minute before you know, there are a couple of things you can do. 1. Consider one-way tickets. If you purchase a true "open return" ticket, they are very expensive, but with competition on Florida routes, many airlines now sell cheap one-ways, meaning you can just book another one-way when you're ready to go back. Try http://www.bookingbuddy.com and select "one way". 2. Compare with last-minute travel site http://www.lastminute.com which often have cheaper airfares if you bundle it with a cheap car rental or hotel room for 1-2 days. Beware Priceline in this case, because if you bid on price, you won't know the actual travel times--you have to block out entire days for outbound travel, and then for return travel, because flight times and connections aren't revealed unless and until your bid is accepted.
