What attack? It was averted. In addition, there was nothing that the USA could have done to prevent it if the claim had been genuine, as the flight did not originate in the USA. Had it gone off, it would have been on Nigeria and the European Union; unlike the European Union, any passenger flying through an American airport in transit must be re-screened. Now, had the plane originated from an American point of departure and blown up in Europe, that would have been on the President.

i have already looked at the major sites but hoping maybe someone will no of some po' duck site that has cheap rates!

u can try priceline.com and tell them the most u will pay is 75 bucks to see what happens, then raise it if they do not get u a ticket for that Also make sure u tell them what time u want the flight or it might be at 5 am or something

Try using priceline.com and try looking up different airports such as leaving from Flint, MI instead. I fly from MI to FL a lot, and priceline is usually the cheapest that I can find. Another airline that isn't advertised on those sights that is cheap is Allegiantair.com. They only fly to and from certain cities on certain days but it is worth a shot. (And they don't fly into major cities, they fly in and out of Lansing for example. Don't know what if any in Portland area.)

It was the system prior to the incident that did not work and she admitted this when interviewed by FOX on 12/28/09. I'm sure your mistake is due to incomplete reporting by one of the news agencies other than FOX, since FOX did report the quote correctly.

I was wondering how much a flight to London would cost, i am flying from Detroit, to London, i know the pricing will be different for different times of year but im looking at summer in general June to early August also how much would train tickets cost for 1 a day? I know im being a little vague but if you can help that would be great, thanks
